Comments:
1.working from within might raise less resistance
2.The governments of Developing countries see ICANN as US centric
and thus want ITU to govern Internet. ICANN should therefore make
efforts to improve representation from developing countries like
India and should adopt a 'reach out' awareness program
3. This is hard to decide on.
4. This is a GOOD poll. Ultimately, however, active members will
voice their opinions to the Panel, and the Panel should pick a
direction and move forward with it. This should have been done
TWO YEARS ago.
5. It's inevitable that the control will eventually move away
from one organisation, and planning should be taking place to
encourage it, smoothen the way and prevent disruption.
6. I believe that we should organize as a legitimate and functioning
entity, then create a massive outreach program which will evolve
into a number of sponsored chapters based upon discreet interests/
language/ and Internet usage, not geography.
7. try to improve while support.
8. support ICANN only with real membership and 50% board seats
for at-large. Dialog wth ALAC gives it legitimacy it has not earned
since it is not member elected and has no board seats. We should
not give credence to a group with no legitimacy
9. work with everyone tor futher user rights
