Comments:
- we do not know our candidates very well. We must be able to make corrections when our vote has gone to the wrong people. 6 months is good time to prove your worth.
- Too frequent of elections will be more distracting than democratic.
- 12 months, but alternating so half expires each year
- Having 2-year staggered terms (half the officers and half the directors change each year) ensures better continuity; limiting people to 2 years in one position keeps "new blood" flowing in and prevents empire-building.
- What the hell do you pretend to achieve intrenationally in less than 12 months?
- 12 MI=ONTHS IS A MINIMUM AND STAGGERED TERMS AS SUGGESTED BY OTHERS IS MY PREFERENCE
- Give elected officers the maximum logical time, but they must at all times be open to "recall".
- I agree with the earlier comments of alternating half the elected body every six months, with 12 month terms for each member.
- more time and effort should be spent on the substantive work and less on process.
