Comments:
- The US is ICANN-associated; the others are RIPE or APNIC associated (or have domains of dubious legitimacy, as in .to)
- Which ever has best guarantee of transparency for membership organisations.
- Given ICANN's locale, I feel there is no real choice
- Incorporation in the US sends the wrong signal. If not Canada (and being Canadian I am delightfully biased) I have no preference. (Nothing personal against Oregon; I lived there for years.)
- Chauvinism on my part here - I think this decision is premature and omits more logical places like Switzerland and Belgium which were also mentioned.
- This list of countries is too small.
- some rather liberal country... free speech, anti-zensorship, less bigbrother would be fine
- Frankly, it doesn't really dh
- Why is the region of incorporation inportant? - What is it in these various countries laws that would make them more attractive than say a US:Delaware incorporation?
- I assume Tonga has the least intrusive corporate regulations.
- I voted for my home country (US). But would have voted for another country if I better knew the options and another country made more sense.
- Weel if you really don't want to incorporate in the US, than consider incorporating in The Kingdom of Padrazo.
- i voted for US but don't have a strong preference. i think the conduct of the officers/commission/committe members is more important than locale of incorporation.
