Do you prefer the At Large to be structured and developed the way ICANN wants it, or should the various At Large groups organise their own independent structures without ICANN defining the rules, structures and constraints?

Comments:
- It is vital that the At Large organization remains fully independent from ICANN. Thisa does not mean that it's primary focus should not be the democratization of ICANN.
- _prefer_ non-regional organization since regional sets up unequal representation. but if RALO is only option, then would prefer this group be US region
- I think that ICANN would listen better if we did not butt heads at the beginning. Form under their guidelines now, and if we see in the future that more diverse regeions need to be supported we could add them at that time.
- No top-down laying down of rules is acceptable.
- there are two questions in one. We want to organize our way, we want to enter and control the RALO
- They have no clue. Imposition won't work.
- I agree with the independent organization however some degree of consistency in structure and process is essential if we hope to see inter-organizational coordination.
- in either way, what gets organized must makes sense also without icann
